I recently got a package in the mail from MILK Makeup and wanted to share it on my site because their products are SO COOL. MILK is a creative media company based in NYC & LA and they decided to launch a makeup line earlier this year. This line is filled with multi-use, unisex products that helps the “cool girl” do her makeup quickly, but still express herself. I love their approach to beauty in what could sometimes be such a serious industry, and I’m all for standing out and doing your own thing, which is exactly who the MILK girl is. Here are some of their products that I’ve received:
This is probably the best product by a beauty line that I’ve ever seen haha. It’s blotting sheets that double as rolling papers. I don’t really have oily skin, so I’ll try to find another use for them. 😉
I got this in a berry color called “Quickie” and it adds the perfect flush to the lips/cheeks. This product is infused with mango butter, peach nectar, and avocado oil, so it’s super smooth and not sticky at all.
This product literally looks like a highlighter but I love it. I got the color “Black Sheep” which is a jet black. The application might take a little time to get used to but I’m so excited to experiment with it.
Definitely one of my favorites. This eye pigment in the color “Silent Disco” is so rich and the prettiest deep brown color with gold undertones. The littlest dot of this goes a long way, and the product did not budge on my hand after washing it with soap! Not only is this cool for eye shadows, but using it as a liner would be fun too.
Once again they’re killing it with the packaging because I’m obsessed with this little matte white mascara tube. I haven’t tried it out yet but the wand is different from any other mascara I’ve tried.
I got the color “O.G Red” which is so creamy and smooth with insane color payoff. It’s formulated with shea butter, coconut oil, and grapefruit peel oil so it’s hydrating and feels comfortable on your lips.
Yay. I love lip balm and I know i’m going to reach for this every day. It’s formulated with a ton of oils that are essential for smooth lips, and the packaging is way cuter than any other lip balm I have.
These are basically like cool Q-tips that are meant to use to remove dirt/oil and clean up any makeup mistakes. Once again, the packaging is v cute.
So I’m sure it’s clear that I’m pretty obsessed with MILK. Their message, packaging, products, etc. is just what the beauty industry needed. I’m so excited to play around with their stuff and I highly recommend checking out the site and going to Sephora to play around with the products. I’ll be swatching the products within the next few days on my Snapchat (emilyjunio) so be sure to add me on there to see these in action. I’ll post more about these products once I try them out and have a full opinion.
Thank you MILK for gifting me!
