Skincare is SO important to me and I’ve paid extra attention to my skin throughout the past year. Last spring is when my skin just randomly flipped out and I was dealing with breakouts for months. After trying out a million products and figuring out what works best for me, I’ve finally found a solid routine. Today I’m going to be sharing the skincare products I use and swear by, and I’ll be doing another post about lifestyle and diet changes I made that have helped my skin as well. It’s so important to take care of your skin and pay attention to what you use on it! Don’t be lazy with it! I still use the same products I mentioned in my “How I Cleared My Skin” video on YouTube, but I wanted to go into more detail about each product and why I love it:
I first take off my makeup with some Neutrogena wipes. These wipes do not replace actually washing your face, so this is just what I use to clean off any makeup I have on. They’re super refreshing and gentle which is perfect for my sensitive skin.
LUSH is an organic, vegan, cruelty free line that makes a variety of handmade products including soaps, bath bombs, hair products, skincare products, makeup and more. I had never tried LUSH skincare, and honestly never thought I would because I’m allergic to a lot of their products, but I stumbled upon this cleanser and I’m hooked. Fresh Farmacy is a soothing calamine cleanser with chamomile extract, coconut oil, lavender oil, tea tree oil, and rose. All of these ingredients help the cleanser to be effective without being extremely drying and harsh like other cleansers that are made for acne. I have used it for about 6 months now and am so obsessed.
For those of you who don’t know, I work for a new skincare line called TULA. I’m so lucky to work for such an amazing brand that has some of the best skincare products I’ve ever tried. I’m not even just saying this because I work there or am being told to post this, I genuinely believe in the products and the results I’ve seen from them. TULA is a probiotic based skincare line that was founded by gastroenterologist and media personality Dr. Roshini Raj. Probiotics are the good bacteria that benefit your insides, and now with these products you can get benefits from using them topically. Benefits of topical probiotics include wrinkle reduction, stress resistance, even tone and texture, pH balance, hydration, and redness and inflammation reduction. I wouldn’t be surprised if more established skincare lines start making products with probiotics within the next few years because the results are amazing. I could go on and on, but you can read more about TULA on TULA.com and check out Dr. Raj on QVC! So about this moisturizer, I have never been so in love with a moisturizer before. I no longer have patchy makeup or dry spots, and my skin always looks supple and smooth. I use this twice a day and everyone I have given samples to is in love as well. This is probably my favorite product from the line and 100000% recommend.
I usually don’t love using face masks because of how tight and drying they are, but this mask is different. It’s a smooth clay texture with little eco-friendly beads that I apply and let sit for about 5-10 minutes. Then, I massage it into my skin to exfoliate and burst the blue beads for extra hydration. It’s gentle enough to use 2-3 times a week and will not leave your skin tight or dry. This will seriously leave your skin glowing, bright, hydrated, and smoother, and exfoliating is key if you have acne scars like me. I especially love using this on my nose when I notice my pores seemed to be clogged up, and immediately after I use it I see a difference.
Since I’m 21 and basically an old woman now, I use this eye cream at night to get a head start that anti-aging process. I love this product because it not only has the benefits of probiotics, but it also includes Grape Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Olive Oil Squalene to hydrate the under eyes and minimize dark circles.
TULA just launched this product and I’m so excited about it! This spray is packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients like rose water, coconut water, liquid shea butter and hyaluronic acid. It helps to protect and shield the skin from pollution, which has a huge impact on our skin. I recommend applying it before makeup, or whenever you feel like you need an extra boost of hydration.
..And that’s what I use for my skin! When it comes to skincare for me, less is more. Just to be clear again, I was not told/paid to include any of these products, I just happen to work for a bomb skincare line. 😉
You can use the code “EMILY25” on TULA.com at checkout for 25% off + free shipping on your order of $30 or more!
Hope this helped!
